Ads on scenes;





Product placement is an advertising technique in which companies pay a fee. In movies, videogames, TV shows, music videos an etc. you can find them. For example, the hero of the movie, wearing puma chasing the bad man in his BMW, suddenly stops in front of the MSN mega office, take a look around and find the bad man going to McDonalds. Many consumers find these product placements bothersome. And I think they really are. Since we all know they are just ads, we will never concern. We just take a look and say: “oh, like every other times, it’s their trade.” We all know what’s going on there. So, we don’t bother ourselves to pay attention and make ourselves consume them. But the fact is that they abuse our leisure time. They put us under the pressure of buying indirectly. It’s a movie we chose to watch, far from the outside, to enjoy, but the connection of those ads reminds us “you have to go back there, to the real world, The World of Ads.”

  1. Life around us I think has changed a lot and the world is not like the old time. Today’s product placement is growing very fast. we are living with new mass media and some propaganda and some product placement are around us which we cannot ignore them. Some social net works like YouTube, TV channels like oprah winfrey show, handphone Mobil, and Internet are innovations in our society.
    but i think that subject depend on human belief
    and ideology or people, need.

  2. I think so with Seyed reza shojaei that say product placement is around us. We can see them everywhere without notice.It is depend on ourself that how much we can get it or accept.
